The double room offers a comfortable king-sized bed and an attached bathroom for your convenience. The two-story room consists of a double bed on the lower level and a cozy single bed upstairs, also with an attached bathroom, making it ideal for families or groups.
You’ll love the beautiful living room, adorned with lovely paintings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The open, fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals, including modern appliances and ample counter space. For added convenience, a washing machine is available on-site. Galle Fort: Located on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, Galle Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved colonial-era forts in Asia. Originally built by the Portuguese in 1588 and extensively fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century, the fort features charming cobblestone streets, colonial buildings, churches, mosques, museums, boutique shops, and cafés. This area offers rich historical significance and a unique atmosphere, making it a major tourist attraction and cultural hub.
Dewata Surf Beach: Perfect for beginner surfers, Dewata Surf Beach is just a short drive from Galle Fort. With gentle waves and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to learn how to surf. Local surf schools and rental shops make it easy for newcomers to catch their first wave in this picturesque setting.
Whale Watching in Mirissa: Experience an exciting boat trip early in the morning to see whales and dolphins in the ocean. The best time for this adventure is from November to April when the sea is calm. You’ll leave around 6 AM for a 3 to 5-hour ride, and if you’re lucky, you might spot blue whales, dolphins, or even turtles. Just a forty-minute tuk-tuk ride from the villa, don’t forget to bring sunscreen and a hat!
Koggala Lake Boat Tour: Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Koggala Lake, where you can explore small islands, see monkeys and birds, and even learn how cinnamon is made. The tour typically lasts 1 to 2 hours and is perfect for families or nature lovers, just a ten-minute tuk-tuk ride from the villa.
Stick Fishing: Witness the traditional Sri Lankan method of fishing in Koggala, where fishermen sit on tall wooden poles in the sea. This peaceful sight is great for photography, especially during sunrise or sunset. Some fishermen may ask for a small tip if you take their picture.
Yala National Park: Known for its diverse wildlife, including leopards and elephants, Yala National Park is a must-visit. You can embark on a jeep safari to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. It’s a 2.5-hour car ride from the villa and one of the best places in Asia to spot leopards.
